Mayor is a sweet boy who is happiest relaxing on the couch, going for car rides, or chewing on a favorite toy. Once he knows and trusts you, his personality shines—he loves attention, cuddles, and being part of the family.

Mayor can be nervous meeting new people and needs a patient family who will give him space to warm up at his own pace. Once comfortable, he relaxes and may approach you for pets and attention. Because unfamiliar people, especially young children, can overwhelm him, he would do best in an adult-only home or one without small children.

Mayor is crate and potty trained, has excellent leash skills, is food motivated, and does well with other dogs. Hello, My name is Six Seven. I'm a 3 years old, wire haired mix and I weigh about 50lbs. Don't let that weight full you. Most of it is heart. I'm just a big cuddle bug who loves ear and belly rubs. My new family had an established dog already. It didn't take long for us to begin playing and running around my foster families backyard. They don't have any cats or young children. I'm not sure how I would react around them, but I think I would like them. I do get along well with my foster brother. We play a lot. Once I'm in a crate I don't make any noise. I tend to lay down and tap a nap. Plus I am able to walk with a leash. Although sometime it takes a doggie snack to help me focus. My house training is good to go and I like car rides too. Marigold is ready to be your personal shadow and lap dog! Marigold is an approximately 1 year old, 21 lb, mixed breed (foster mom guesses beagle/doxie/pug) spayed little cutie from West Virginia. Marigold was found in a ditch after being hit by a car and had to have some extensive surgery on her hind end, but she is all healed up now and ready to find her people! Marigold is incredibly sweet and loves to snuggle. She’s always down for a belly rub. Marigold is doing great with using the potty outside. This sweet girl does well with dogs and cats.
